Kilduff

Kinross Model Flying Club was formed in 1996 with the clear objectives of promoting and furthering activities in the field of model construction and flying. Although named "Kinross" Model Flying Club, our members also come from a wide area around Kinross including Dunfermline, Alloa, Kirkaldy, St Andrews and as far away as Perth and Dundee.

Our flying site is situated approximately 2.5miles West of Kinross, on farmland at South Kilduff. To find our site please click on the directions link. We always welcome new members, and if required offer friendly advice in choosing and flying your first aircraft or helicopter. We are even willing to give first time flyers flight training under the supervision of our resident instructors. At the club we use the Buddy Box system. If the weather permits, most members meet from 10:30am every Wednesday and Sunday morning at our large regularly mown grass flying field. During the summer months, we also like to fly as often as we can in the evening.

At the flying site we operate an off the peg frequency control system for 35mhz FM, and 2.4ghz spread spectrum technology. Events are organised throughout the year. Take a look at our events page for details.
